Helen Caldicott speaks tonight in Knoxville
Dr. Helen Caldicott has spent much of her adult life working on behalf of peace while waging war with the nuclear industry. She has tracked the health hazards associated with nuclear operations and rallied citizens to take up the causes to protect the environment and human health.
She will speak at 8 tonight at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral in Knoxville. Her appearance is connected to the 20th anniversary of the Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance. Here’s more on her background.
